The Saints
Town & Country Club, London, UK, July 1987

Excellent FM radio broadcast. The band were touring their 'All Fools Day' album, which had been released in 1986. By this time they had a more countryfied sound than during their punk heyday, and had released several albums since the departure of Ed Kuepper in the early 1980s. Half of this set is taken from 1986's 'All Fools Day,' with only 'Know Your Product' dating back to the early days, having appeared on second album 'Eternally Yours' in 1978. I don't know the exact date of this show, but these highlights were broadcast on 1st August, so it was almost certainly in July 1987.

Echobelly, John Moore University, Liverpool, UK. 23rd February 1995

Superb radio broadcast of Echobelly recorded during BBC Radio 1's 1995 'On Campus' week. They were promoting second album 'On' at the time, and half the songs here are from that album and being given early public outings. Sadly, Echobelly's career stalled after this - third album 'Lustra' didn't fare so well, and fourth album 'People Are Expensive' is now very hard to find. The band reunited for a fifth album, 'Gravity pulls' in 2004.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds,
Bochum, Germany, 26th September 1986

Excellent-quality recording, either soundboard or an FM radio broadcast, but probably the latter as there are only ten songs here. The show was recorded During the "Your Funeral, My Trial" tour and half the songs are from that album, the other half from 1986's earlier release, the "Kicking Against the Pricks" covers album.

01 I'm Gonna Kill That Woman
02 Your Funeral My Trial
03 She Fell Away
04 Long Time Man

08 By The Time I Get To Phoenix
