The band were touring their 'All Fools Day' album, which had been released in 1986. By this time they had a more countryfied sound than during their punk heyday, and had released several albums since the departure of Ed Kuepper in the early 1980s. Half of this set is taken from 1986's 'All Fools Day,' with only 'Know Your Product' dating back to the early days, having appeared on second album 'Eternally Yours' in 1978. I don't know the exact date of this show, but these highlights were broadcast on 1st August, so it was almost certainly in July 1987.

01 (You Can't Tamper With) The Temple of the Lord
02 Big Hits (on the Underground)
03 Ghost Ships
04 Angels
05 Let's Pretend
06 First Time
07 Just Like Fire Would
08 Know Your Product

Source: FM radio broadcast
Quality: Excellent
Encoding: 192kbps mp3
File size: 35Mb

Download hereFat Reghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02126234822569729443noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675601212132461615.post-38891144250113536492014-03-21T14:15:00.001+00:002014-03-21T14:17:17.799+00:00Crowded House, The Mermaid Theatre, London, UK, 20th May 2010Excellent digital radio broadcast, with the new incarnation of the band performing songs from new album "Intriguer" as well as old classics.

01 Saturday Sun
02 Weather With You
03 Twice if You're lucky
04 Elephants
05 Fall at Your Feet
06 Amsterdam
07 Either Side of the world
08 Falling Dove
09 Don't Stop Now
10 Four Seasons in One Day
11 Distant Sun
12 Don't Dream it's Over

Source: Digital radio broadcast
Quality: Excellent
Encoding: 192kbps mp3
File size: 92Mb

NEW LINK HEREFat Reghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02126234822569729443noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675601212132461615.post-38893355775702080312014-03-21T14:15:00.000+00:002014-03-21T14:18:12.351+00:00The House of Love, Guildhall, Preston, UK, 19th March 1990Excellent FM radio broadcast.

01 I Don't Know Why I Love You
02 Road
03 The Beatles and The Stones
04 Se Dest
05 Never
06 32nd Floor
07 Christine
08 Shine On

Source: FM radio broadcast
Quality: Excellent
Encoding: 192kbps mp3
File size: 41Mb

NEW LINK HEREFat Reghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02126234822569729443noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675601212132461615.post-21041430211092811562014-01-24T19:31:00.000+00:002014-01-24T12:10:41.337+00:00Teenage Fanclub, The Astoria II, London, UK, 21st January 1996Excellent FM radio broadcast. They were promoting second album 'On' at the time, and half the songs here are from that album and being given early public outings. Sadly, Echobelly's career stalled after this - third album 'Lustra' didn't fare so well, and fourth album 'People Are Expensive' is now very hard to find. The band reunited for a fifth album, 'Gravity pulls' in 2004.

01 Today Tomorrow Sometime Never
02 Four Letter Word
03 Pantyhose and Roses
04 I Can't Imagine the World Without Me
05 Close... The show was recorded During the "Your Funeral, My Trial" tour and half the songs are from that album, the other half from 1986's earlier release, the "Kicking Against the Pricks" covers album.

01 I'm Gonna Kill That Woman
02 Your Funeral My Trial
03 She Fell Away
04 Long Time Man
05 All Tomorrows Parties
06 Sad Waters
07 The Singer
08 By The Time I Get To Phoenix
09 Stranger Than Kindness
10 The Carnival is Over

Source: FM radio broadcast or soundboard
Quality: Excellent
Encoding: 192kbps mp3
File size: 62Mb

Download here (NEW LINK)Fat Reghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02126234822569729443noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675601212132461615.post-52586722976978826192013-10-22T18:28:00.000+01:002013-10-22T18:29:05.814+01:00All About Eve, Town & Country Club, London, UK, 15th September 1991Excellent digital radio broadcast. This was recorded during the tour to promote the band's third album 'Touched by Jesus' and the set-list majors on songs from that release. I have spliced in 'Martha's Harbour' and 'It's All Too Much' from the much shorter version previously posted here. As the source of that earlier post was an FM radio broadcast, there is a slight difference in sound quality, but I felt it was better to have a more complete version with the songs in the correct place in the running order.

01 Strange Way
02 Share It With Me
03 Wild Hearted Woman
04 Touched By Jesus
05 In The Clouds
06 Martha's Harbour
07 Hide Child
08 The Mystery We Are
09 Road To Your Soul
10 The Dreamer
11 Rhythm Of Life
12 Are You Lonely?
13 Every Angel
14 It's All Too Much

Source: Digital radio broadcast
Quality: Excellent
Encoding: 192kbps mp3
File size: 86Mb

New linkFat Reghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02126234822569729443noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675601212132461615.post-70443486995557621822013-10-02T19:45:00.000+01:002013-10-02T19:45:22.811+01:00The Pixies BBC Maida Vale Studios, London 26th September 201360 minutes of The Pixies (with new bass player Kim Shattuck) recorded specially for BBC 6Music and featuring, among the classics, four new songs.
