This Medics gig took place at the open-air Crystal Palace Bowl in London, UK as part of a one-day 'Anti-Heroin' festival, nominally headlined, bizarrely, by 'Forces Sweetheart' Dame Vera Lynn, though, as she came on after last band Hawkwind, most of the crowd were heading for the train station by that point. Also on the bill were, Spear of Destiny, March Violets and the Comsat Angels. There were probably others, but I can't remember them. Enjoy!

This is Fabulous, There's Not enough Good Dr and the Medics about on line. Before they went a bit crap. First Few Singles, Happy and Twisted ep and the First album, then it went a bit shite, But this gig is just so much fun to hear , I thank you for this
And i have found the Poster of the Fest on line
If you click the Link and scroll down. You will find the poster and the full line up all the bands

I fully agree with you - the early Medics stuff was great. Saw them a few times from 1984-1989. I think I have a couple of other shows. I'll have a rummage around and see what they're like. If they're any good, I'll digitise them, too.

A re-up of either or [preferably] both Doctor shows would be more than appreciated .

Link's died. Would love a new one. And did you record Hawkwind that day?
