Very good FM radio broadcast. This show was simultaneously shown live on television, and aired on the radio to ring in the new year. This was the first show I ever recorded myself and the sound on this is very good considering it was recorded via a crappy mono radio-cassette recorder onto a cheap C90 tape and has spent the last 30+ years in a box under the stairs. There's a bit of tape hiss audible through the right-hand channel, but apart from that everything's very listenable.

Yes, many thanks indeed for sharing all the great music on here. This was BBC 'Sight and Sound In Concert' I believe. I also taped it and watched it live.
Many thanks also for the Fuzztones Marquee '85 show. My own tape is sadly now long gone, so it's great to be able to hear it again after so many years as I was at the gig. And what a great night it was.
Cheers.

As ever, it's a pleasure. I'm happy that so many people have got pleasure from hearing these old tapes. I have a couple more very good Fuzztones recordings which I'll get digitised in due course. I'd forgotten that the Blondie show was a 'Sight and Sound In Concert' show - thanks for reminding me. My family whinged all the way through the television broadcast that night...
