The Damned played a number of Christmas/New Year dates in 1983, including this appearance, headlining a punk all-dayer which also feature, among others, UK Subs, Angelic Upstarts, GBH, The Partizans and Screaming Lord Sutch (who joined The Damned onstage for the encores). The sound on this isn't the best (Leeds Queens Hall is a former bus station, so the acoustics are dreadful) but it's OK, and is a very lively performance. Sadly, the taper didn't record the interlude while Captain Sensible and Rat Scabies clowned around onstage while the guitars were off being re-tuned mid-set, though the recorder was turned back on as they started to play 'Happy Talk'. The last track is mis-labelled as 'Good Goll Miss Molly' on the mp3 file, by the way.
